
Peters rejects National's foreign aid cut plan as 'desperate and dangerous'
NZ First leader Winston Peters has rejected National's promise to cut non-Pacific foreign aid to fund a more than $820 million Pharmac boost. Peters, the Foreign Minister, called the plan "desperate and dangerous". Leader Christopher Luxon said he did not speak to Peters before announcing the policy in Auckland with health spokesperson Simeon Brown.
