Many Students Hurt in French School Protests

At least 190 students have been hurt in French protests over packed classes, old buildings and few teachers. On Monday near Lens school, a 15-year-old lost a hand but officials say the wound is not deadly. A 14-year-old broke a jaw in two places, reportedly hit by police tear-gas canister, choking smoke used to scatter crowds. Police tactics face questions.
