Why Pennsylvania's Large Measles Spread Matters

Pennsylvania has 1,004 people sick with measles this year as of Oct. 5, health officials said. 198 needed hospital care and five died. The spread started in April west of Philadelphia and has reached 39 counties. Lancaster County has the most, with 391 sick. Officials say it is the biggest U.S. measles spread in decades.
