Church Buys and Forgives $2 Million in Medical Bills With $25,000

Trinity Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina raised $25,000 and used it to wipe out $2 million in medical debt. They worked with RIP Medical Debt, an organization that buys unpaid medical bills from debt collectors at a steep discount, then forgives them. Any organization can do the same.
