Obama to Visit Detroit to Encourage Early Voting

Former President Barack Obama will urge Detroit voters to turn out on Oct. 24, the first day they can vote early in person in Michigan. He will appear with Abdul El-Sayed, Democrat running for U.S. Senate, and Jocelyn Benson, Democrat running for governor. El-Sayed faces Republican Mike Rogers to replace retiring Democrat Gary Peters, Michigan Democrats said.
