Famous History Cloth Gets a 40-Minute Visit Limit
The British Museum now gives visitors 40 minutes to see the Bayeux Tapestry, to keep lines moving and rooms less crowded. The 70-metre-long cloth tells the story of the 1066 Norman invasion in pictures and is in Room 30, open later Thursday to Saturday. Visitors also get an audio guide, seats and signs.
