British Museum Limits Bayeux Tapestry Viewings to 40 Minutes
The British Museum now requires Bayeux Tapestry visitors to keep to a 40-minute slot to ease queues and overcrowding. The 70-metre work depicting the 1066 Norman invasion is shown in Room 30, with extended hours Thursday to Saturday. The limit is part of wider measures including an audio guide, seating and signage.
