
Oil Is Flowing Again Through a Key Waterway Near Iran
At least 16.5 million barrels of oil per day passed through the Strait of Hormuz in September, the Wall Street Journal reported, as Iran's attempt to block the narrow waterway failed. The strait carries much of the world's oil and gas. That gives Tehran less bargaining power with Washington, though costly shipping insurance still slows a full recovery.
