Most Bridges Over Kyiv's Main River Closed After Four Days of Attacks

Five of six road bridges across Kyiv's Dnipro River are now limited or closed after four days of Russian attacks on commuter routes through Oct. 4, 2026, authorities said. The Southern Bridge was hit several times and the Northern Bridge was damaged. Like losing spare roads, drivers now face much longer detours even when few people are hurt.
