Five of Six Kyiv Bridges Over Dnipro Restricted After Four Days of Russian Strikes

Kyiv has restricted or suspended traffic on five of six road bridges over the Dnipro after four consecutive days of Russian strikes on commuter crossings through Oct. 4, 2026, authorities said. The campaign includes repeated hits on the Southern Bridge and damage to the Northern Bridge. With redundancy nearly gone, detours lengthen even when casualties are low.
