
Ukraine's Capital Loses Half Its River Bridges After Two Attacks
Russia hit Kyiv’s Northern Bridge on Oct. 3, hurting two people. It was the second bridge hit in two days. Three of six road bridges over the Dnipro, the wide river splitting Kyiv in two, are now fully or partly shut. Earlier hits on the Pivdennyi Bridge stopped subway and road traffic, city officials said.
