U.S. Lets Iraq Restart Flights to Iran

Iraq can again fly passengers between Iran and Najaf, a holy city for Shi'ite Muslims, after the U.S. made a temporary exception to its Iran penalties, reported Oct. 3. The exception lets Iraqi Airways, Iraq's national airline, run the route. Iraq's transport ministry said the airline was getting ready to restart Iran flights in October.
