Diesel gets cheaper in Europe after U.S. asks for help

Diesel got about 5% cheaper in Europe on Oct. 2, Reuters reported. The wholesale price used to set diesel and heating oil prices fell after Oct. 1 reports the U.S. asked France and Germany to release 120 million barrels of diesel. One headline doesn't mean more fuel yet. Watch if it actually arrives.
