Hurt Pilot Opened Locked Door to Stop Possible Plane Crash

Wounded Captain Smit Machchhar unlocked the cockpit door — the pilots' locked control room — letting crew and passengers step in to stop an apparent attempt to crash Flydubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The jet with about 170 aboard landed in Saudi Arabia instead after another pilot allegedly stabbed him inside. The UAE is investigating.
