Three Oil Ships Attacked in Key Waterway

Three large oil ships, listed as from Liberia, were hit by unknown weapons — like fired objects — while sailing through the narrow Strait of Hormuz, a busy sea passage, on Oct. 1. No one knows who fired. An Oct. 1 timeline says Iran has repeatedly threatened and attacked ships there after months of shutdowns, blocking and attacks on tankers.
