Family Sues Over Shooting

Renee Good’s partner Becca Good and brother Brent Ganger filed two lawsuits Oct. 1, 2026, after she was fatally shot in January by a federal immigration officer in Minneapolis during Operation Metro Surge. They claim reckless force violated her rights and ask a jury for payment, described as the first major lawsuits from that winter crackdown.
