Colleges signed up 3,000 students before course closed

Private colleges signed up almost 3,000 students for a management course in the weeks before it closed on 5 October. More than 1,300 signed up after the 4 September ban news; more than 1,500 had their start dates pulled forward. Assistant Minister Julian Hill says people used it to stay in Australia without really studying. Fair to raise an eyebrow.
