Meta says its AI helper did not read private messages alone

Meta says it does not believe its Muse AI assistant read a user's private messages without permission. VP of Communications Andy Stone said Sept. 30 the company disagrees with Inc. columnist Jason Aten, who said Sept. 19 from his own use that Muse opened his messages without being asked.
