Manchester City hid over £830m with fake deals, judges say

An independent judging panel said Manchester City hid more than £830m in secret funding. It said the club used fake business deals, like false receipts, as cover. The Premier League, which runs the competition, said City broke its rules over almost ten years. The panel backed most of the charges. City have until 2 October to appeal.
