Major Labels License Music to Stability AI for Training

Sony, Warner and Universal licensed their song catalogs to Stability AI for model training, letting it learn from licensed music. The deal was part of the British startup's $76 million Series B funding round, announced in late August 2026. Stability aims to become the main AI toolmaker for music professionals.
