DoorDash to try food delivery by drone in northern California

DoorDash will start its first DoorDash Air drone delivery trial in northern California, starting with Chipotle and Popeyes orders. The company is licensed by federal flight regulators to operate its own aircraft, like a small airline. It says 80% of restaurant orders are light enough to carry, with early tests arriving in five minutes.
