Investigation Discovery uses AI mask to map Wuornos likeness onto actor

In Unmasking a Monster: Aileen Wuornos, Investigation Discovery mapped Wuornos's features onto actor Morag Peacock with an AI-mask tool in post-production, the phase after filming, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Executive producer Stephen Dost told the outlet the technique is a first for the industry. The report said nine other actors received the same treatment.
