Philips Hue Bulbs Work with More Smart Home Systems at Once

Philips bulbs can now speak two languages at the same time. Starting June 24, 2026, certain Hue bulbs support both the older Zigbee standard and the newer Matter standard. Owners keep their existing bulbs and Hue Bridge while adding Alexa, Apple Home, or Google Assistant. No more choosing between ecosystems or replacing hardware.
