Missing Texas Giraffe Found Safe in Canyon

Gracie, a 15-foot-tall giraffe, escaped from a Texas ranch and disappeared Monday. On June 24, rescuers found her alive trapped in a canyon—a deep ravine with steep walls and a gate blocking the way out. She couldn't climb past the rocky cliffs to escape. Security cameras had last spotted her west of town, which helped rescuers search the surrounding Hill Country area.
