Moroccans March for Palestinians, Oppose Closer Ties With Israel

Pro-Palestinian marchers across Morocco protested September 25-27 for an end to official ties with Israel. Organizers, the Moroccan Committee for Supporting the Nation's Causes, said they held 76 rallies in 45 cities under the banner 'Friday for Al-Aqsa,' a holy Jerusalem site, 'and against normalisation.' The rallies followed a September 16 plan by Morocco and Israel to open full embassies.
