Google Tests AI Helper for Lawyers

Google began testing its legal AI tool, Gemini Enterprise for Legal, in late August with four law firms: Gottlieb, Freshfields, Weil and Williams & Connolly. That is about three months after rival Anthropic launched a similar tool. Google's tool can pull papers from firms' filing systems, Everlaw and NetDocuments, to help write and check legal work.
