Morocco Gets Its First Woman Leader

Morocco has its first woman head of government. King Mohammed VI named Fatima Zahra El Mansouri prime minister on Sept. 29 after her Authenticity and Modernity Party won the Sept. 23 parliament vote. She is the second woman to lead an Arab government, after Tunisia's Najla Bouden. With 97 of 395 seats, her party needs partners to rule.
