New Homes in England Could Lose Flood Cover, Insurer Warns

England is 'for sure' building homes insurers may refuse to cover for floods, Aviva chief Amanda Blanc told the BBC's Big Boss Interview podcast, saying danger is 'absolutely increasing'. Aviva research finds nearly one in three 2024 new homes could flood by 2050. The Environment Agency says 6.3 million properties are at risk, rising to 8 million by mid-century.
