84-year-old former radio host hurt in Bulli bike path crash

Former ABC host Margaret Throsby, 84, is recovering in hospital after two teenagers on a battery-powered bike with wide tyres hit her on a shared walking-bike path on Sandon Drive, Bulli, last week. She broke her hip and had an operation the next day, plus thumb and head injuries. Police say the 16-year-old rider stayed to help; inquiries continue.
