Myanmar Army Bombs Kill 33 Near Local Market

At least 33 sellers, shoppers and passersby were killed and 36 hurt by two Myanmar army bombs near Kyauktaw market on Sept 28, 2026, the Arakan Army, a rebel group, and a rescue worker say. It holds 14 of 17 areas in Rakhine since Nov 2023. I expect the army rulers to keep bombing from the air after losing ground.
