Texas Candidate Urged Executing Political Opponents

Texas Republican Bo French, running to lead the railroad commission, repeatedly called for political opponents to be executed in public, CNN's KFile reported Sept. 28, 2026. In May 2020 he said Obama-era officials should be hanged over the 'Russia hoax' and wrote Barack Obama could face death for treason. In February 2025 he targeted Senator Adam Schiff.
