Retired Wall Street economist offers new money-stress thermometer

Jim Paulsen published his own U.S. money-conditions meter — like a thermometer for borrowing and markets — in his September 21 Paulsen Perspectives issue. Paulsen says he spent 40 years as a Wall Street economist and chief investment strategist. Since he hasn't shared the recipe or ingredients, I can't tell if it warns of trouble ahead or just records it.
