Protesters Block Parade in Northern Ireland Town Despite Court Go-Ahead

About 2,000 protesters stood in the road in Portadown, Northern Ireland, stopping a march by the Orange Order, a Protestant group, through Garvaghy Road, a mostly Catholic neighborhood. A top court had said the march could go ahead, but protesters blocked the street anyway. That road has been off-limits to the march since 1998.
