BYD Plans First Car With New Battery Type for 2027

BYD will sell its first car with a battery that uses solid material instead of liquid in 2027, Executive Vice President Stella Li told Carwow Spain. Li said BYD leads in developing the technology and preparing it for sale. The date fits BYD's earlier plan for test batches in 2027 before large-scale manufacturing.
