Trump Rejects Iran's Plan to Reopen Key Waterway for Oil Ships

Iran offered the U.S. a detailed seven-day plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway used by oil ships, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said. He said Iran sent the offer through Qatar and normal traffic could return in seven days if terms are met. President Trump said Sept. 26 it "would not be acceptable."
