Supreme Court Lets States Check Voters Against Citizenship List

On Sept. 25, the Supreme Court sided with the Trump administration for now and lifted limits on a federal list states use to check if voters are U.S. citizens. States can use it again before November's congressional elections. The administration says it stops noncitizens from voting; critics say legal voters could be cut. The main court case continues.
