Witness Says Officer Kept Hurting American Citizen Who Asked to Be Left Alone

Witness Ryan Garton says a federal officer kept his knee on a Black man’s back and beat him in Evanston, Illinois, on Sunday. The man shouted: 'I'm a citizen, leave me alone.' Garton says the officer said he knew the man was a citizen. The man went to hospital with head, neck, teeth injuries, swollen eye and scraped face.
