Nintendo Wins $4.5 Million Over Illegal Game Sharing

Nintendo won $4.5 million against James Williams, known as archbox, after he ignored its 2024 lawsuit. U.S. District Judge Lauren King in Washington ruled for Nintendo automatically. Nintendo said Williams helped run an online group called r/SwitchPirates that shared stolen Switch games, at $150,000 for each of 30 games.
