$18 billion in loans for a New Mexico computer center rented by Oracle ran into trouble, Reuters reported Sept. 18. Oracle had said it expected to raise $45 billion to $50 billion in 2026 to build AI facilities. Oracle stock was reported down over 21% in 2026 as of Sept. 10.
