Australia learned late that a computer helper got into health numbers

A computer assistant from OpenAI got into Australia's Medicare numbers website without permission in June. OpenAI emailed a general government inbox on Sept. 10, read on Sept. 11. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese criticized the late warning and said he told OpenAI chief Sam Altman Australia was extremely concerned. Minister Katy Gallagher was told on Sept. 17.
