Singer Michael Kiwanuka had a serious stroke

London singer Michael Kiwanuka, 39, says he had a severe stroke earlier in 2026. He said Sept. 23, 2026, high blood pressure caused bleeding in his brain, like a burst pipe disrupting flow. He called it a 'long tough journey,' with much therapy ahead, thanked NHS staff, and said he does not know when he can tour again.
