Claim staff told to stop writing notes at Māori language meeting

A whistleblower says an Education Ministry manager told staff to stop taking notes at a meeting of about 60 teachers discussing te reo Māori, the Māori language. The manager said it was off-topic and did not want criticism in notes the public could ask for under the Official Information Act, RNZ reported. Teachers wanted a better curriculum.
