Whistleblower alleges ministry stopped notes during te reo Māori discussion

A whistleblower alleges an Education Ministry manager told staff to stop taking notes at a hui of about 60 teachers discussing te reo Māori. The manager called discussion "out of scope" and did not want criticism in notes discoverable under the Official Information Act, RNZ reported. The whistleblower said attendees sought a better te reo Māori curriculum.
