YouTube Music Will Build Playlists From Your Spoken Requests

YouTube announced Ask Music for YouTube Music on September 23, 2026, at Made On YouTube. Built into the app, it works like asking a friend: describe music or podcasts in normal words and it lines up a playlist from more than 300 million songs, including remixes, live shows, covers and DJ sets, and answers questions about making songs.
