Carney Warns UN of Rare Global Break, Pitches 'AI for All'

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney told the UN General Assembly in New York on Sept. 23, 2026, the world faces a “once-or-twice-a-century rupture” in how countries work together. He outlined Canada’s ‘AI for All’ plan during his Sept. 21-23 visit for the 81st session. In my view, Ottawa wants to help write future AI rules, not only watch.
