Trump considers stopping diesel sales to other countries

President Donald Trump said Sept. 22, 2026 he likes the idea of stopping U.S. diesel — the fuel that powers delivery trucks — from being sold abroad and asked advisers to look at options. Fellow Republicans want lower fuel prices by keeping more at home. It is only an idea being studied, not a rule yet.
