UK stops trade with Israeli settlements in the West Bank

The UK will no longer trade with Israeli settlements in the West Bank that break international law, Prime Minister Andy Burnham told the UN General Assembly meeting of world leaders on September 23, 2026. He said Israel's E1 building plan is meant to stop a two-state solution, the idea of separate Israeli and Palestinian states living side by side.
