Te Pāti Māori plan to fund a takatāpui group

Te Pāti Māori says if elected, it would spend $200 million to set up a separate Takatāpui Commission under its Mana Takatāpui policy. Co-leader Rāwiri Waititi said it was built on "nothing about takatāpui without takatāpui". The party said takatāpui — Māori in the rainbow community — would run it and give money to community groups.
