California and New York Sue Over Payments to Cancel Ocean Wind Farms

California and New York's top lawyers sued the Trump administration Sept. 22 to stop paying builders to give up ocean wind sites.

California opposes paying Invenergy to drop four ocean permits, including one off California. States led by New York oppose action on Bluepoint Wind off New York-New Jersey. New York says $1.4 billion in taxpayer money was used illegally.
