OpenAI launches two new AI helpers, Sol and Luna

OpenAI released two new AI helpers, GPT-6 Sol and Luna, on September 22, 2026. Sol costs $2 for requests / $10 for answers; Luna costs $0.10 / $0.50. Paying Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users get both in ChatGPT Work and Codex, while Free and Go users get only Luna on desktop. Both were built with Astra methods, OpenAI says.
